Course objective:

    The participant, upon completion of this course shall able to

• Explain a primary function of  boiler and structure of major equipment for each type of boiler.
• Explain sequence of preparation for boiler feed water and chemical treatment.
• Explain a function of control system.
• Calculation for plant efficiency and realize affecting factors.
• Explain working sequence of start up, shut down, normal operation and emergency operation.
• Understand and realize related laws.
• Experience thermal plant operation using a simulator.
